Born In a family of cinema owners, Yusuf Shaikh, joined his family distribution and exhibition business from an early age and then went on to acquire an MBA degree from NewPort University course in Mumbai.
He began his first distribution endeavour with Mohra (1994) and went on to release more than 100 films in a career spanning more than 2 decades.
He also leased a chain of 40 cinemas in Gujarat for more than 8 years during the period 1994 to 2002 before joining Shringar Films to launch Mumbai’s first Multiplex Fame Adlabs as Head of Digital Cinema.
Yusuf Shaikh is currently a visiting faculty at MET college since 2013 (conducting a course on films as a business) and is invited as a speaker to various colleges and indidustry forums.
So far Produced around 12 Movies with 3 new films under-production.
